Base Metrics Filters
Core liquidity filter for fundamental token analysis.
Overview
Base metrics provide the foundational data points for evaluating a token’s current state. The liquidity filter helps you set basic requirements before considering other factors.
| Filter | Value Type | Default Range | Step | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
liquidity | Decimal | 0 - 10,000,000 | 0.01 | Pool liquidity in USD |
Filter Details
liquidity
The total liquidity available in the pool, measured in USD. This is the primary indicator of how easily you can enter and exit positions.
Operator: between
Value Format: [min, max]
Default Range: 0 - 10,000,000 USD
Step: 0.01
Use Cases:
- Ensure sufficient liquidity for your position size
- Avoid illiquid pools with high slippage risk
- Target pools with healthy trading conditions
Recommended Ranges:
| Strategy | Min Liquidity | Max Liquidity | Rationale |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sniper (risky) | $500 | $5,000 | Early entry, high risk |
| Standard | $5,000 | $50,000 | Balanced risk/reward |
| Conservative | $50,000 | No limit | Maximum safety |
| Whale trading | $100,000 | No limit | Large position support |
Example Configuration:
liquidity: [5000, 100000] # Between $5,000 and $100,000Why Liquidity Matters:
- Low liquidity (under $1,000): High slippage, easy to manipulate, difficult exits
- Medium liquidity ($1,000-$10,000): Moderate risk, suitable for smaller positions
- High liquidity (over $10,000): Lower risk, supports larger positions
Warning Signs:
- Sudden liquidity drops may indicate developer withdrawal
- Extremely high liquidity on new tokens may be artificially inflated
Combining Base Metrics
Example: Balanced Entry Filter
# Base Metrics
liquidity: [3000, 50000] # $3,000 to $50,000 liquidity
# Combine with other categories
mint-authority: 'none'
freeze-authority: 'none'
top-1-holder-pct: [0, 20]This configuration:
- Requires minimum $3,000 USD liquidity for reasonable execution
- Caps liquidity at $50,000 to focus on growth opportunities
- Adds essential safety filters
