Getting Started

Welcome to SharkBlock — automated trading on Solana. This guide walks you through your first bot.

Prerequisites

  • At least 0.05 SOL in the wallet for trading and network fees (you’ll fund the wallet after creating it)

Step 1: Open the App

Open the SharkBlock web application in your browser.

Step 2: Sign In with Privy

When you first arrive, you’ll be prompted to authenticate via Privy. Supported login methods:

  • Email (magic link)

  • SMS (one-time code)

  • Passkey (biometric)

  • Google

  • Twitter (X)

  • Farcaster

  • Discord

  • External wallet (Phantom, Solflare, any Solana-compatible wallet)

  • How it works: Privy creates a secure embedded wallet for you — or connects your existing wallet

  • Security: SOC 2 Type II certified, enterprise-grade key management

  • Self-custody: SharkBlock never accesses your private keys

Step 3: Create Your First Bot

After signing in, create a bot.

When creating a bot, choose a mode:

  • Shadow Mode: paper-trade with virtual SOL — no real funds at risk
  • Delegated (Live) Mode: trade with real SOL via revocable Privy delegation

You can have up to 3 shadow bots + 3 live bots simultaneously (6 total).

Step 4: Fund Your Wallet

For live trading, transfer SOL to the wallet shown in the app.

For Shadow Mode, you fund the wallet with virtual SOL directly from the app.

Step 5: Configure Your Strategy

Define entry conditions and exit targets. You can use 200+ filter configurations across 12 categories.

Step 6: Start Trading

Enable the bot. It will scan Solana 24/7 and execute trades when your conditions match.
